THE HAGUE - The Lower House last week approved a motion initiated by the Antillean organisation OCaN (Organisatie voor Caribische Nederlanders) to have parliament look into the possibility of introducing a fatherhood law.

Read more...On 13 October 2009 a Master Course Public Sector Dutch Caribbean was organized by the Royal Dutch Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the SOAB, the internal accountant for the Netherlands Antilles and the Island Government of Curacao. The master course was attended by 35 registered accountants from The Netherlands, the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba.

The DNB (De Nederlandsche Bank) and DSB Bank seem to aim their strategy on financial supervision. Both have enlisted the services of a lawyer with experience with the responsabilities and tasks of regulators.

GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes, the second largest airline in Brazil, also performs flights to Curacao.
